Following the beautify-your-desktop theme, if you suffer from a cluttered desktop, let’s face it who doesn’t, and you haven’t quite got around to either
a. Replacing windows with an alternative like Emerge Desktop
b. Adding widgets like Yahoo Widgets
this may be what the doctor ordered for all icon junkies.
How about trying out the following prescription, Dexpot 1.4?

Have you ever needed to produce HTML, PDF, Text and RTF versions of the same document, in seconds? This article, part of a series, will show you how to do it. These multiple document formats can be produced using an XML document which is transformed using XSL code. In this first article, we’ll look at producing HTML from an XML document.

Inspired by Amy Hoy’s article - How Tech Writing Sucks: The Five Sins, I decided to put pen to paper, figurately of course. I loved this article. It’s clear, amusing and sooooo relevant. I didn’t think it was possible to use “suckitude” in a sentence but she nailed it.
Being one of the tech-writing sinners, I tried to identify why. Here’s what I came up with.
