Treasure hunt in streets of Copenhagen

18 June, 2009 by Anni Poulsen

Stuck in Copenhagen and strapped for cash? Join PartyPoker’s treasure hunt! If you happen to be in Copenhagen tomorrow, Friday 19 June, then keep a look out for packs of playing cards scattered about the city’s streets.

PartyPoker will place 500 packs of cards in three specific areas of Copenhagen for people to find. 46 of these packs will contain cash for the people who find them to put in their pockets. In total DKK 50,000 have been hidden in the 46 packs, according to PartyPoker.

The treasure hunt starts at 6:00 Friday morning, when the treasure map will be made available at www.pokerskattejagten.dk.

According to the Danish media, Copenhagen City Authorities have deemed the event illegal, so make sure you check PartyPoker’s website tomorrow morning to see if the event is still on, before you start scouring the streets.
