Fit for a future king

The palace, which has undergone 5 years of refurbishment, will be open to the public from 27 February – 30 May 2010.
Frederik VIII’s Palace will soon become the private residence of the Danish Crown Prince couple and their children, so this is likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Along with the amazing interiors you’ll also have the chance to enjoy the new, contemporary works of art created for the palace by artists: Olafur Eliasson, Signe Guttormsen, Morten Schelde, John Kørner, Eske Kath, Kathrine Ærtebjerg, Kasper Bonnén, Tal R, Erik A. Frandsen and Jesper Christiansen.
For information on how to book tickets, please go to the Palaces and Properties Agency website, where you’ll also find photos of the newly refurbished palace.
