Second attempt at world record in helicopter

30 December, 2006 by Anni Poulsen

It’s time to look out for that cherry-red helicopter. I wrote about Jennifer Murray and Colin Bodill’s second attempt at flying around the world via the South and North Poles in a helicopter back in November.

They finally took off from Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Dallas, USA on 5 December, and according to their diary they got off to a good start. The small team of two and one red helicopter are currently in Ushuaia, Argentina. They are due to hit the South Pole in just 10 days.

You can follow their attempt on the Polar First web site, where you can also leave them a message or ask them a question.
