Under the name “Heart of Borneo - three countries, one conservation vision”, the agreement is intended to both secure the protection of HoB’s wildlife as well as the provision of water and food for people living in Borneo.
In 2006 alone, 52 new species of animals and plants were found on the island of Borneo.
