Visitors to Auckland, New Zealand are in for a treat this week as the city hosts its 7th International Buskers Festival.

Buskers, also known as street performers, from around the world, well USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand at least, will entertain in the streets of Auckland from 1 - 6 February.

The festival is divided into day shows, which start at 12 noon every day, and night shows, which run from 19:30 to 23:00, but only from 2 - 5 February (both days included).

You can enjoy anything from music, comedy, fire and basketball juggling to the creation of pavement frescos.

If you decide to join the circus, don’t forget to bring a few coins for the passing hats. You can find the full Buskers Festival program at Cracker Jack Promotions (pdf).
