Gaudí’s Lizard vandalized

The Lizard before the vandalism

Barcelona is one of my favourite cities in the world, so I was really sad to learn that the Lizard in Gaudí’s Park Güell has been vandalized.

A group of youths smashed parts of the lizard’s head and body with ironbars, according to Barcelona police.

A 22 year old man has been arrested in connection with the vandalism.

What on earth is the point of doing something like that?
