What’s in a name?

Just a brief post to announce a change of name for two of our new series.

The series previously named “Sussex in Pictures” is now called “View of Sussex“. Research revealed that the BBC and a couple of others have already run “Sussex in Pictures” series, so in order not to cause any conflict I’ve renamed the series “View of Sussex“. The aim of the series, however, remains the same, i.e. to reflect how we see Sussex and to give potential visitors a feel for the area. The next picture in the series will be published this coming Friday.

The second series that I’ve renamed is the previously named “The Sussex Border Path”. This series was meant to cover our attempt at walking the 256km long Sussex Border Path. However, the instigator of the attempt pulled out after only three walks, and the remaining two of us have decided to go back to doing circular walks instead. So I’ve now given the series the more generic name “Sussex Walks“, which will include articles and photographs from our walks in and occasionally around Sussex. For the people who have come to this site looking for information about the Sussex Border Path, please contact me via our contact page and I’ll be happy to share what I’ve learned about the path.
