Denmark visit back on track

16 May, 2007 by Anni Poulsen

The pilot strike at Sterling will apparently be called off and the immediate threat of Sterling calling it quits is hopefully over! Hurray! And that will be the only time you will ever see me celebrate the survival of a low-cost airline.

Fingers crossed, my visit to Denmark in June is now back on track. Of course, if Sterling was telling the truth and the airline really would have had to declare itself bankrupt, had the pilots gone on strike, then who’s to say that it won’t go bankrupt anyway? The airline is already running winter sales before the summer season has even started, which is never a good sign.

It certainly doesn’t seem a very clever announcement, if it was only meant to form part of a scare tactic. Who is going to book tickets with Sterling now, knowing how close the airline came to bankruptcy? I, for one, am in no rush to book any more tickets with Sterling.

Anyway, I can only hope my trip to Denmark goes according to plan, so I’ll leave you now to do some more research on what will be on in Denmark while I’m (hopefully) there. Expect more post about Denmark.
