Environmentally friendly Amalienborg

28 June, 2007 by Anni Poulsen

I was just working my way through some of our photographs from Copenhagen, and noticed on this photo that the Royal Palace Amalienborg is using energy saving light bulbs in the outdoor lamps in the courtyard.

Good to know that Amalienborg is conscious about the environment and not wasting Danish taxpayers’ money.

And Buckingham Palace?

Well, hard to tell from the photos I have in my library. What is evident from the photos though, is that Buckingham Palace has some of the lights on in broad daylight. Not so environmentally friendly and certainly not saving British taxpayers’ money.
