Briton Jason Lewis completed his mission to become the first to circumnavigate the planet using only human power on Saturday, 6 October 2007.

Personally I’m not really interested in all these first-to-do-this, first-to-do-that records, but I am deeply impressed by Lewis’ achievement!

13 years it took him to complete the human powered only circumnavigation, which he divided into 16 legs:
