Lost-in-London New Year’s Celebration

10 December, 2007 by Anni Poulsen

If you’re in London this New Year’s Eve with nowhere to go, then you might be interested in the Lost-in-London New Year’s Celebration organised by Cristiano Betta.

According to the organiser the event is for anyone “lost in London all alone this New Years eve” [sic] to meet up and head out on a trip through London ending up by the Thames to enjoy the fireworks.

This year is the first year for a long time that I won’t be celebrating New Year’s in London, so unfortunately I won’t be joining the event. But I think it is a brilliant idea, as there is bound to be quite a few travellers and locals in London with no plans for New Year’s.

If you’re interested, you can read more about the event on Upcoming or sign up at the Lost-in-London New Year’s Celebration wiki.

If you do spend New Year’s in London, the 1st of January is a great day to go for a walk through London, as the crowds are still in bed hungover from the night before.
