MP responds to Make Women Matter campaign

This is a quick update to my Make Women Matter post of 3 January. I’ve just received a response from the MP that I emailed.

In his letter the MP confirms that he has written to Douglas Alexander regarding the issue and that he will write me again, once he has received a response from Douglas Alexander.

The letter is dated 4 January, the day after I sent my email. This proves that not only will MPs take your email seriously, they will also act quickly.

So if you’re a UK resident, please email your MP today. If you live outside the UK, please do what you can to put pressure on your local politicians to make the fight against HIV and AIDS a priority!
