No More Ugly Furniture
OK, hands up, hanging my head in shame - this has very little to do with travelling, but it’s funny and I couldn’t resist - call it a Sunday blip.
The Danish retail furniture chain BoConcept is currently running a competition to find the ugliest piece of furniture in the world. All you need to do is take a photo of a piece of furniture of yours that you find ugly and upload it to the No More Ugly Furniture website.
The owner of the furniture that receives the most votes wins design furniture worth GBP 3,500 or EUR 5,000.
If you don’t own any ugly furniture, BoConcept also promises prizes for some of those who vote for the ugliest piece of furniture.
I have found a hideous floral-print sofa that gets my vote, and I have a few candidates amongst my own furniture that I might just upload.
Happy furniture hunting!
