Golfers get ahead with GolfFlyover

The serious golfers out there can now get a virtual preview of thousands of golf courses, thanks to the new website, GolfFlyover, just launched.
GolfFlyover offers virtual flyovers and lay-outs of currently only American golf courses, but will soon be covering golf courses worldwide, according to their website. The flyovers allow the most competitive amongst us to plan how best to play each hole, before they even get to the course. The site is also very handy for travellers trying to find the right course when away.
The website uses Goggle Maps to list the flyovers, and golfers will need Google Earth installed on their computers to view the flyovers.
While I love watching the big golf tournaments on TV, I have yet to swing a club. But the flyovers are pretty cool - any excuse to fire up Google Earth!

Thanks for the great article.
If you don’t see a golf course on our site we can usually do it overnight and have it on our site the next day… I have team in India working on this.
