Bullfighting banned in Cataluña (Catalonia)

By a narrow 13-votes margin, the Catalan parlament banned bullfighting in Catalonia from 1 January 2012 in a vote earlier today.

Lost luggage problem deemed unacceptable by EU

Touch wood, in my 20 years as an air passenger I have always received my luggage at arrival.
No such luck for 4.6 million bag owners travelling via airports in the European Union in 2008.
